Agreement
By placing an order with Story Night Studios, you agree to these terms in full. These terms constitute a binding agreement between you and Story Night Studios, LLC.
Services
Story Night Studios creates personalized story videos, illustrated portraits, digital keepsakes, and related products for families, delivered digitally and/or physically depending on the product ordered. Each product is custom produced based on information and media provided on your order form.
Payment
All orders require full payment prior to production. Payment confirms your acceptance of these terms. All prices are in USD.
Sales Tax
South Carolina sales tax (6%) applies to all physical products (including framed portraits, printed story books, and printed keepsakes). Digital products and services are not subject to sales tax.
Shipping
Physical products are shipped separately from digital delivery and are subject to shipping charges at checkout. Shipping costs are never included in product pricing. Estimated delivery timelines will be provided at the time of shipment. Story Night Studios is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier once an order has left our hands.
Refund Policy
All sales are final. No refunds will be issued once production has begun. Production is deemed to have commenced upon receipt of cleared payment and submission of your completed order form. Story Night Studios is not responsible for delays caused by incomplete order submissions or unresponsive customers. Delivery timelines begin from the date complete information is received, not the date of payment.
Order Forms
Customer is responsible for providing complete and accurate information on their order form. Story Night Studios will make one attempt to contact the customer if critical information is missing. If the customer does not respond within 48 hours, Story Night Studios reserves the right to proceed using professional creative judgment. No refund will be issued for creative decisions made in good faith when requested information was not supplied.
Photo and Media Submissions
Customer confirms they own the rights to all photos and media submitted, and grants Story Night Studios permission to use submitted photos solely for the purpose of producing the ordered item. Story Night Studios is not responsible for likeness accuracy when descriptions are incomplete or photos do not meet quality guidelines. If submitted photos are unusable, Story Night Studios will request a replacement within 24 hours. If a replacement is not received within 48 hours, production will proceed using AI-assisted likeness based on the written description provided.
Privacy of Submitted Photos
Photos and media submitted for portraits, keepsakes, and videos remain private and are never shared, sold, or used outside of producing your order, except where the Portfolio Rights below apply.
Portfolio Rights
Story Videos
Story Starter — Story Night Studios retains full portfolio rights and may use the video in marketing materials, social media, and our website.
Memory Maker — Story Night Studios retains limited portfolio rights and may use up to 30 seconds of the video as an example of our work.
The Heirloom Film — Customer retains full ownership of the video. Story Night Studios will not use the video without written permission from the customer.
Illustrated Portraits & Digital Keepsakes
Story Night Studios may request permission to feature your finished portrait or digital keepsake as a portfolio example. This is always optional and requires your separate written consent — it is never assumed as part of your order.
Revisions
The Heirloom Film orders include one round of revisions. Revision requests must be submitted via email within 48 hours of delivery. Revisions are limited to improvements to the existing work and do not constitute a full remake. Story Starter, Memory Maker, and all portrait/keepsake products do not include revisions unless otherwise stated on the product page.
Creative Judgment
Story Night Studios reserves the right to apply professional creative judgment in all productions. Optional fields left blank will be filled at our discretion. No refund will be issued based on creative decisions made in good faith.
Limitation of Liability
Story Night Studios' liability is limited to the amount paid for the order. Story Night Studios is not responsible for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages of any kind.
AI Disclosure
Every Story Night Studios creation is handcrafted — brought to life through AI-assisted tools and professional creative direction, then personally reviewed and approved before it reaches your family.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina. Any disputes will be resolved in Greenville County, South Carolina.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms occasionally. The effective date at the top reflects any changes. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
